Shifting to online formats due to the pandemic, the routine of performing and teaching has been fragmented on many levels. The Telematic Performance Format developed at ZHdK has become an important tool within that context.
Three main issues of the telematic work were addressed in this presentation: performing music, performing dance and teaching. All of them have specific requirements in terms of equipment, space and communication. The experience of the last academic term clearly showed that students are mainly limited by their personal equipment. Therefore the most recent projects of the ZHdK telematic team aimed to develop minimal telematic setups outside the university campus in private spaces.
