Shared Campus Summer School · 2021
The first Shared Campus summer school dedicated to telematic performance brought together students and faculty in Kyoto, Singapore and Zurich. Improvisation served as both an artistic practice and a shared method for working across cultures, disciplines and physical distance.
Participants explored how cameras, screens, microphones and networked technologies shape presence and interaction. Rather than treating latency, jitter and glitches only as technical limitations, the programme approached them as artistic material. The summer school culminated in a simultaneous performance connecting the three locations.
